Daddy's Back...

And we're all smiles! He even brought us all some neat trinkets, like Alaina's pink Mongol hat. Travelling to and returning from Afghanistan, he passed through: Moscow, Kyrgystan, Istanbul, Singapore, and Dubai. Ty enjoyed Afghanistan--he said the temps were in the 20's and the terrain was quite rugged (elevations up to 14,000 ft). He found the Afghan people to be "quite appreciative" and said their army was "very competent and willing to fight." He says he's really looking forward to working with them next year. But we're just glad he's home!!
